Default My sr20det has a miss!

Alright nissan experts,
I have a blacktop sr20det that I've had in my car for around 2 months, and the car has had a miss the whole time - First everybody told to switch the plugs, which I did, and the miss just got much worse! Then, I was told to just have a new wiring harness made, which I did - Durden perfab. Now the only things left would be coilpacks and injectors. When the a/c comp turns on, the motor runs fine w/ no miss. U turn it off, and the miss comes back! Is there anyways to test coilpacks? I mean, obviously switch them out one @ a time - but I don't have spare coilpacks laying around. I think if it were an injector it would miss all the time, right? Anyways - any help out there, or anybody wanna help me out - would be great, thanks
matt

Could be anything, but the change with the plugs is a clue. What are they gapped to?

How does the car run otherwise?

now that sounds like a leaky injector or small vacuum leak.

yah a vacuum leak could cause enuf unmetered air to cause a lean condition at lower airflow rates i.e. idle

That would be the reason it goes nuts when I start it up, It barely runs, jumping around in the rpms til the car warms up - then its okay. The guy who did the swap said its because ive got an open air bov, but the bov was brand new and its closed during no boost.....so i dont see that causing anything....any other places i could have a vacuum leak? - blake....if you can fix my car ill throw ya fifty, what ya say?

wtf fuel filter? The fuel pressure is already down to about 32psi at idle. If you had a fuel flow restriction under those conditions, you wouldn't be able to make it through the parking lot without detonating.

*edit* wrong fuel pressure. Can't subtract inmg from psi!
