Default s13 sr help needed

I own an s13 with a redtop sr in it. I have an FP Big 28 upgrade which is good for about 325-350 whp. Since i have stock injectors and maf i can't crank up the boost too much, but I am in the process of upgrading those weaknesses. I have been told (by Heavy Throttle) that for me to upgrade my MAF and injectors i would need to reprogram the ECU at a cost of $600. I was hoping that there would be a way around this. i want about 16-18 psi daily with 20ish on dyno day. I know that i will need an SAFC if i don't reprogram the ecu, but can I just throw on a bigger MAF (and if so which one should i use) and injectors(probably top feed with a new fuel rail) if i tune it with the safc? If anyone has a similar setup that can help or any advice of any kind would be appreciated. Details of my car's upgrades with a picture and dyno graph are in my TRGarage. PLEASE HELP!

and on a side note i noticed in turbo magazine there was an s13 that was built in a st. petersburgh shop that i think was called durden or something like that. are they any good?? THANKS,

-chris

ECU reprograms can be done locally by our own Enthalpy. You can even opt to have it tuned on the dyno. Just PM him for pricing. Sounds like you're looking at 550cc (or 50lb) injectors and a Z32/J30 MAFS. That's a very common upgrade.

Durden Perfab is a great shop! Keep looking around in Turbo/SCC/Modified/StupidStreet. Lots of bay area cars and shops (like Zfever) are getting coverage.

Looks like you're new around here. Everything you could possibly want for your S chassis can be done by people on this board.

Epstein- Thanks for the advice. And yes i am new around here. I just moved here From NH about 3 weeks ago. Any idea how to get in touch with durden? Phone number and website would be perfect. Also who is this Enthalpy character? how do i reach him?

Clifford- Have you gone past the point im at? Meaning bigger injectors and MAF for more boost. What kind of setup did you go with?

Thanks guys and to anyone else who can help me i appreciate it!!!

Photek- Thanks. that was helpful. i will look into both options.

I am also interested in seeing what other people have done at the stage that i am at. I know it is basically impossible to break 300whp without maf and injectors, so anyone who is past this stage let me know what you did!!! Thanks

another great shop i would recommend if you have a 240 is Central Florida Performance. They are also located in st. pete. They did all the turbo work + exhaust work to my car. And there prices are the cheapest ive seen around for the great work sean and ivan do there.
