The fella's over at Revolution Autoworks are in the process of creating a supercharger for the current gen Spec V. This is a video of the first test start. Keep in mind, this is still pre-production, untuned.. Just a little something to whet SE-R owners appetite.

I like the idea, that motor has been waiting for a nice FI kit for it. I'd like to see some pics of the whole setup if you can find some. Sounds nice...i'll wait for numbers too though. Anybody know what size blower they put on that thing, looks large for a 2.5L?
Fordified: If an Exploder beat this in a race, it would probably have a blowout and die shortly thereafter...either contribute to the subject or stay in the fake redneck section of the forums.

 

what do you mean waiting for a nice FI kit for it? www.powertechimports.com has been making a reliable turbo kit for it for over a year now......

supercharger on an already torque-laden engine=not my idea of a good kit. eh, we'll see how it goes. it's been talked about a lot, I'd prefer it if these companies just made a damn kit and then debuted it when it was completed.

 

on a t3/t4 mind you....equating to about 270-280whp. Torque is the bigger issue here though. Once torque/hp surpasses 300whp, the con-rods bend like rubber pencils.

and the pistons don't help much either.

My dream: a QR20DE boosted, or a majorly destroked QR25 to about 2.2L....8000rpm, GT35R turbo.
