Besides putting into neutral and doing landscaping with the s13, does the rev go pass 5k when driving on the streets?

i doubt he has an SR..

SR20DETTT that's what you need triple-turbocharged so u can get that tach past 5k

But it seems like hes saying it doesnt rev pass 5k. Whats a the need for the turbos if the motor barely gets into boost?

ok, lets start over ......i have a sr20det 1989 s13 ,i test drive it in my 3acer frield ,that way i dont get pulled over on my road and get a fine ,for no tag,no brake lights (getting it prepped for paint), no front bumper (getting it prepped for paint),no muffler ,and no insurance.......and while on my test drive,i found the problem statted above ....does not want to rev past 5000 rpm (nutral or drive)studders..... unles i ease into the gas .....i do have a very weak battery (does not hold a charge,i jump it)....and if i misspelled anything im sorry for being sld

i would check for any ecu codes and then test the MAF

obviously something is limiting the airflow going into the engine, any severe bends or crimps on your intake pipe? clogged air filter (from all the grass and shit?)? Does it run fine besides the rpm problem? I'd check for a MAF code http://www.200sx.org/ecucodes.html theres a whole list of nissan generic codes (using the blinking lights on the ECU). Try cleaning the maf out.
