it a 93 240sx hatch 5 speed wen it idles about 800 where it should bit went i go down the road and come to a stop its like its wants to stall but u here a click noise about 3-4 times then it s goes back to idle fine same thing wen i rev it any help whould be great full oh it no the maf i think it might be the feul or plugs or egr not sure and i just put on the hks filter and dont know the effect of the second hose from the air box can it be removed or plug still a newbe to the whole nissan thing thanks again for all the help guys

 

hmmm sounds exactly like a mafs problem. How have you trouble shot it? That hose just dumps fresh air into the exhaust. It doesn't have to be from the airbox.

 

well i cleaned it with electric cleaner but if it was dead whouldnt it throw a cheack engine light?

Nope, no it wouldn't. Mine has a bad connector on it, so it craps out once a month. No light.

Go to MAFS. Go directly to MAFS. Do not pass GO. Do not collect $200.
