Default Clutch Install on 240sx

Hi just curious if anyone in the Lakeland area that's pretty good at installing new clutches on 240s would be interested in helping me out when I get my new one in the next couple weeks???

Any transmission shop in your area can install it. Dont need to go to a nissan "performance" shop to get it done.
Good pricing to install one should be round 250-300, and make sure they resurface the flywheel.

Make sure the resurface the flywheel +1
Make sure they replace the TO bearing...

I thought he was looking more for a DIY install.
Gotta learn somehow.

It also doesn't hurt to do the rear main oil seal while you're changing it.

Wish i could change a clutch in 4 hours. Removing & Installing the bellhousing bolts seems to take 99.99% of the time for me ;[

I've done it once already and got 99.99% of it done and ended up paying like 200 for the damn shop to put in the two top bolts of the bell housing and bleeding the system so I didn't want to pay for it again just curious if anyone had access to a lift or anything like that. I hated laying on the ground for ever last time. Thanks for any info

I dont even put the top bellhousing bolt in. its a pain, and its not really needed. Also, i broke my stupid CAS on the top of the bellhousing, and never even replaced it. 2.5 years now and never given me a problem. Use alot of extenions, and make sure to remove the CAS first. Give it a try on your own--youll be surprised how its not that bad. Make sure to resurface the flywheel while its out. Bleed properly too, if not itll suck bigtime, you could burn that new clutch up quickly.

Get this, and those top bolts can go in with ease.....ok maybe not ease, but a hell of a lot easier.
