Sr20det starter
well i already took it to one starter place BESCO basically worked for 2 days. and lastnight its doing the same thing i took it in for =( so now i am out $70. only reason why ia m asking this question is just in case they wanna give me a hard time.
Are you sure you're getting power to the starter? maybe there's some resistance in the system somewhere...check, and make sure you have battery voltage, then if you can push start it, its your starter, and you should go back and show those guys that rebuilt it that they suck and you want your money back, or you want the work you paid to be done, to really be done.

well the starter is good. i think its my alternator that is fucked up. I was told the bearings are going out on it and i need a rebuild. or buy another one. my guess is that it will be cheaper to have it just rebuilt. now my question for that would be. can i take it to the same place and have them rebuild it, and just say its a normal usdm 240 lol. cause i know if i say what this is off of they are gonna look at me cross eyed
hey Jubee you can also use a good ka alternator you just have to drill the bracket bolt whole a little bigger and swap the sr pulley on to it slap the alternator back on you are good to go... just thought I would mention that cause its a little easier to find and cheaper

Well i charged up the battery. but my dam shit still wont start =( so i still have to push start the SOB. i wounder if i had done something when i went through that puddle both time when that drainage ditch filled up i had to go through it " just a though but i dout that would have had anything to do with it. it was not that deep. I checked the power wire going to the starter and its def getting power made a nice spark with it touched metal. i was told to check the signal wire. do they go bad from time to time and if so were can i get a new one? mine seems kinda old a beat down.

I dont really remember but when you pull the bolt out just use that to gauge the drill bit you use.
