after wash, she wont start.
the motor really needed a cleaning, so i gave it the works. i removed some things so i could clean absolutely everything, because i want to do something right if i am to do it at all. nothnig serious, just unbolting small stuff from the sides and shifting them out of my way for a few minutes. no unplugging whatsoever. so, i get in the ar and it wont fire. crank, but wont start. i look around, shit. i forgot to plug in a plug to the disty. go back to try it again, it wants to start, but wont catch. so ive been waiting a little, hoping for it to dry out. anyone else have this problem?

Just for future reference you have to cover up the alternator, maf, dist, and any other electrical parts that can affected by water. Try not to get these things wet. I would say take all of the connectors apart and spray them with wd40 and hopefully get most of the water.
Do you have a cold air intake? Your MAFS could be soaked with water.
