Hmm.. was that ignorance remark in response to my post? How about instead of calling it bullshit, you refute what I said. It's cheaper to build a narrow powerband high hp car than to build one for a broad torque curve. It's those high hp people who race from rolls constantly. I see no bullshit. You are just saying that you break things on the launch - axles (which I've rarely heard of breaking). That's not the direction I was thinking, so you are correct on the part that I made an assumption about you wrongly. But don't call my post bullshit.
J30 axles - check car-part.com . There are a few places with them for $25/ea, and a place here in Tampa "Japanese & European Auto Parts" has them for $50/ea.

Easy there Mr. Newbie. Whats funny is that you think I'm talking s*** because I agreed to run you from a dig. Running from a dig requires skill and true knowledge of your car. If built and driven properly your car could also be fast at the track. I believe it was you who asked or wanted to know everybody ran. Sure I can throw a bigger turbo on and retune and be a massive roll racer just like you. Thats easy. I love running into guys just like you at the track events because their excuses are all the same. If the track were only a little longer.

 

I will be your huckleberry for a dig or roll but this thread is about track day not roll racing callouts thats why launch said what he said about the rolls so lay off no need to get this thread closed. If you wanna roll after the event bring it up to me there , I will be glad too. I have a high hp setup that I can get full power on the launch. I am not afraid to break anything cuz it will be fixed the next day. I really hope you show should be fun and great competition.

ps. dont take offense but launch could drive your own car down the track better than you.

Launching @ a RPM / w boost will snap a half shaft. NO offence taken, I understand your p.o.v as you have some what understood mine. Just do me a favor and set me up with Jeff @ the track event(Just want to prove something). I am curious to see what the car will do @ the track a few changed mods. I need to find an extra set of axles, and maybe a new diff. Looking forward to meet some of you 240 guys in Tampa. Let the thread continue.

 

ditch the j30 lsd and axles if you want the most traction believe it or not the welded diff is just as good as a solid and cheap. plus the j30 will hurt your gear ratio up top. I will be the guy in the white 240 hb with slicks and XAT Racing on it come introduce yourself.

 

I understand what your saying. Per my prior post . But there is no need for a comment such as the one you made. Yout dont know me nor the way i drive, so dont go saying this guy or that guy will drive my car better than me. I have had many respectable 240's over the last few years. But lets not be ignorant.

P.S i will probably launch your car better than you can Just fun and games.Take a joke, relax.
