From some sites Ive read, the rods are very weak. I guess if you replace the rods, might as well do the pistons.

thats damn impressive! im sure on race gas the car could easily see over 400 whp if you really wanted to. but thats awesome that you made those numbers AND installed it yourself!

Those are some awesome figures, and these are on the stock internals I assume ? Is the car still running the supplied emange ? What are the stock VQ's limited too (bottom end strength wise).

From what Ive read, thats about all you would want to get from the stock bottom end, 400hp. Dad had another ECU piggy back the Greddy E-manage so timimg can be adjusted, cant adjust timimg with the E-Manage. I cant seem to talk him into beefing up the bottom end....

awesome numbers, but the tune looks pretty rough. is there any way to clean it up a little?

great job I saw the dynos at XAT, pretty nice I think you guys have best numbers for a VQ35DET so far. Its pretty choppy though but they are all like that without proper timing and cams.
