i'm about to buy a 91 240. i would like some advice on what i can actually do to this car to make it what it can be. the clutch is fucked up on it but it runs and its 5 speed. i have no expererince with these cars. all i've ever owned is hondas and yotas. holla at me. -1-

problems to look for..if its a hatch, rust under shitty ass foam wing..and everything else is for coupe and fastback
problems that ive had with both..
*right rear brake caliper tends to fall apart and stick causing it to erode your rotor, youll notice a grinding sound when in reverse
*timing guide rattle, remove easy fix(nissan recommends removing it)
*tie rods r probally shot, car will be very bumpy at 30-55mph, after that smooth sailing
*cracked coolant resivour
*very shitty in the rain(good thing
) if u know what i mean
*The clutch should be relatively easy to replace...
these r the problems i have had with both of my cars ...there pretty much common issues..the Ka24de motor is fairly stout can last farther than 200k as long as u keep oil in it, tranny's bad not eiether...except for some little annoying problems its a pretty nice car ...u can always throw yourself a SR20DET in there ..
others fell free to chime in your thoughts.....id say buy it, youll have some fun with it
