TPS is a major sensor...i know OBD II needs it for start up...I believe OBD I needs it as well...it needs to know the throttle position to know how much fuel to dump in.

Is the car cranking at all? If its not check the remote wire on the starter, disconnect it, and jump it from the starter to the positive terminal on the battery.

If its crankng, Check fuel by pulling the fuel line off the fuel rail, and turn the ignition on and check for fuel, If you have that, check your spark plugs for any gas, or as I was told today use a screwdriver on the injector to listen for the clicking.

If you have fuel check for spark, I usually put a phillips screwdriver in a plug wire, and set it near a bolt on the chassis, and check to see if a spark is jumping the gap.

And i'm pretty sure you have air getting in the motor, so that can be ruled out.

I know the car will start without a MAF sensor, and I'm pretty sure it will start without a TPS sensor. It won't start with out the crank angle sensor though. Not sure about the map sensor.

I am pretty sure your solenoid on the starter went out.. or your starter is dead. I would say take the old one off and take it to discount for the core and buy a new one which comes with the solenoid and usually has warranty. BTW most cares can run without the tps sensor, it will just usually cause the car to run a little richer.

it would help if you posted what processes of elimination, if any you have done to try to figure this out.

is it getting spark
is it getting fuel
does it have proper fuel pressure
are the injectors firing
and is the timing right.
