Im getting a 92fastback SE and I wanna see if a HUD is really worth swapping i think itd be a neat addition BUt what all would be involved in swapping ? and wtf does it look like at night all lit up ?

 

well swapping in a hud would require you to cut a whole in your dash and or replacing ur dash with the hud slot already in it. you need the guage cluster and the wiring harness, one pug behind cluster and one plug behind dash by center air vents. Now finding a perfectly working hud is the hardest part. some work but only at certain times(crappy wiring in cluster). so all in all dont waste your money and be happy that you dont have to worry about your speedo taking a crap on you.

if you want heads up to work you need a heads up windscreen

 

or just put the gage cluster in and fuck all that heads up stuff

Thats bad ass ! I kinda like that ! but what does the Actual HUD look like and to the person who said you need a HUD Windscreen alls you need is a lil pice of tint
