Internal Coil for S13 "How to"
Hello,
Just seeing if anyone had a link or could describe how to convert to a S14 distributor on a S13 KA24DE?

mine is pretty simple.
step 1, get s14 distributor.
step 2, have taylor modify harness.
step 3, install both parts.
im sure theres other ways, but probably not as easy.

Step 1. Obtain S14 distributer and connectors.
Step 2. Refer to S13 FSM section "EF & EC" pages 93 and 104 and S14 FSM section "EC" pages 89 and 106.
Step 3. Think.
Step 4. Do.
Step 5. Test.
Step 6. Drink beer in victory.
That's the wiring part. Don't forget to set the old distributer to cyl 1 before removal. To install the new distributer you're going to have to pop the valve cover to align it. You'll also have to set the timing.
You know what, you should all Taylor.

the only reason why i dont make write ups on the things that people want done to these cars is b/c this is how i eat. its not to be pompous or righteous. im alwasy willing to help out people 24/7 and take phone constantly. but i understand the desire for DIY.
