Default Are 300ZX worth buying?

Theres a dealer selling me a 95 300ZX, very clean. With 116K miles..
For $7 thousand. I just need to knw if this is something that should jump on..
I dont care much about the price.. It sounds about right.. THose Z's are expensive... but anyhow.. I just need to knw if this a car that would last me 1 or 2 years? I heard they dont break... BUt when they do
nobody wants to work on them.... and if they do they will charge me off the @ss for like *changing water pump or timing belt*...
I knw about Honda's but i dont kwn about Z's.
Can you guyz let me knw into this..
This is a car that i've always wanted, those cars have such great body style look to them.. that makes them unique...
If some one with 300ZX exp. Please let me knw ASAP..

just have it checked by a mechanic before you buy it. Take it to Z-fever, let them check it out for you, or take it to your mechanic.

The NA's can last forever, but your right about having someone work on it. Learn to do the work yourself and forget about the whole mechanic thing. What plans do you have for this car?

They are nice are reliable. I have a shitload of miles on mine and drive it everyday. Just treat it good and keep it maintained. Once something does go wrong its usually a bitch to fix and is real expensive unless you fix it yourself.

for a 95, that's a far price.

NA's are rock solid. ASLONG as you get preventive maintance done, IE timing belt, water pump, cam seals, oil changes and brakes, stuff like that.

they are not the easiest thing to work on, i can't believe how easy the SR and KA is, but if you can get use to work on the VG30, you can damn near work on anything.

BUDDYLEE-ask if 60k service has been done, Its vital to the VG30 for it to be done. And preety much everything else people here have said.
