2001 Sentra XE to Spec-V Conversion
You've never heard of it because all the parts are different. I'm no B15 expert, but last time I checked the entire front end, hubs/wheels/brakes, and of course engine/trans were different. Might as well just buy a Spec-V if you want one that bad.

For that kinda money youre better off just buying one outright.
For that kind of money just do an sr20det conversion
. Just make sure you get someone who knows their shit to do it right....

I don't really see a point in spending all of that money (which would be a lot) to get to where a specV is, when you can go further if you just spent that money on some quality aftermarket stuff. Engine wise, you'd have to do a swap, QR or SR. If your talking about a front end conversion, I believe thats ~800-1000, unless you can find someone with your color, which is tough.
The cars are very different, and swapping in OEM shit is expensive. I would first try to find wrecked/salvage specs if I was bent on OEM parts. Then heavily consider a SR swap instead of the QR.

Like dr.octogon said, get a 2000-2001 se and turbo it. It costs less money than a spec-v, its the same body style pretty much, and you can swap a gti-r in there whenever you're ready to do so
