I purchased a 91 240sx with a 95 motor in it a few weeks ago and didnt notice when i test drove it that it has no power at all. I was trying to catch other stuff and didnt even notice it at the time. I know im stupid, but anyways its has no power at all. i stomp it when i take off and u can hear it loud as hell like if your flying but it goes super slow it drives fine just extremely slow i tryed to burnout and stick the tires to the ground and it doesnt even have enough power to overpower the brakes, and the thing is eating a ton of gas. Has anyone had a problem like this or know of an honest person who might beable to fix it let me know please. Thanks in advance for any help. Rey

no but even in the middle of shifting it doesnt move

 

it drives really really slow no pick up at all

 

fuel pump...happened to me, car sounded like it was a friggin rocket but wouldn't go anywhere...wiring to the fuel pump was messed up and leaning out like a mother. check it out.

 

coolcloo.... what would happen to the rpm's? would they stay consistent, or drop down, and go back up as the car accelerates?
