So i replaced the gaskets on the manifold and turbo. Now I have an oil leak. I think it's coming from the oil line from the block....but not sure (yes, I used new copper washers). I also moved the dip stick tube around while removing the manifold/turbo. Any chance it might be coming from the dip stick tube? I obviously can not see where the tube attaches to the motor.

Charles

BTW: Replacing P/S lines fixed my P/S leak....'bout time.

Make sure the oil supply line banjo bolt is tight, and not cross threaded.

many people cross thread that bolt while attempting to get the banjo threads started into the aluminum block.

then you moved the threads on it...Might have to retap it if its bad, but I think you would feel it if it was cross threaded.

well....it wasn't crossthreaded. I pull the bolt out, checked it closely, and stuck some new m10 crush washers on it....and what do you know....she doesn't leak oil anymore. I think I left about a quart of oil on the howard franklin this evening on the way home for work...
