just bought a 240sx... it needs a motor... anyone got one??? its a 89 i think... mabeee ... LMFAO well.. ill just wait around for answer... oh yeah its an auto... i was iffy bout it... buuuuuut it was 450 so... blah blah blah im going to throw a 5 speed in it anyway... who gives a fuck..

 

as a matter of fact I do. DOHC engine, but youll need a head and oil pan for it. The engine is in damn good condition though, absolutely No ridge on the cylinder bores.

to be honest with you guys i dont know that mutch about engines and shit, my buddy nick dose tho, hes going to be helping me rebiuld it. ill talk to him later and find out exactly what i can throw in it... later...

 

you can throw anything you want to in there. the question is, how much fabrication do you want to do ...if you're just looking for a daily driver then a dual cam would be fine for you and it goes right in no problem.

 

do you have to do any different wiring harnesses or anything to put a dohc in it? and do you have to use a dohc tranny too?
