Default 93 240 Clutch not fully disengaging

heres the problem. when I push the clutch pedal all the way down it disengages but as I hold the pedal for about 40 seconds it starts to grab again. Almost like I have to pump it again and same thing happens. Now If I push the clutch in and rev the engine up to about 3K it sounds like it is enguaging on a fresh pedal pump and the rpm's go back down and it stops? any ideas? a weak slave cylinder?
I just had a new exedy clutch kit installed, before that the car had 175K on it. Im also thinking the old master and slave cylinder are weak to the old clutch?

Make sure the clutch is adjusted properly by checking how far in/out the piston on the master cylinder is. It's up underneath the dash, look at what the clutch pedal is connected to.

After that, make sure you have enough clutch fluid! If you don't, that could be a problems also.

From there, make sure you're not leaking any fluid, and that your master and slave cylinder are in good condition.

I bled the clutch once before to find out there was no air ion the line? I will have to check the pin under the dash. Maybe it needs to be adjusted to enguage further.

I did all of the above when mine started the same thing. Replaced slave, ajusted pedal shazbot, ect ect. Nothing helped. Now the transmission lays in my driveway, awaiting a new clutch. Wish you luck.

well I played with the adjustment rod on the pedal but that only cleared up half my problem. for some reason it dosent like it when I shift fast. I makes a weard noise like something is not enguaging. but if I shift normally it dosent make that sound. its weard. If I let straight off the clutch pedal almost like im dropping the clutch it makes a loud noise and I cant understand what it could be. NO gears grind what so ever?
