Well it's not just the Transmission, you also have to buy a clutch pedal, and cut a hole through your firewall, and convert the center console to a 5 speed shifter. You should have just bought a 5 speed if thats what you wanted. It's a headache.

XAT charges an extra $500 to convert an auto to a 5 speed, but only when they are doing a swap.

it's easy if you can turn a wrench. find a parts car and get all the stuff from it. hardest part is cutting the stupid clutch master cylinder hole.

Thanx for all the help but it sounds like it would be a lot less hassle if i buy a 240 with the manual tranny already in it. Once again thanx for all the help though.

its well worth the effort. you need the clutch, flywheel, MT bolts, hydrolic lines, MT dust plate, get a new master and slave cylinder for $50, trans, clutch fork, new fork and TOB spring (i can get them cheap for you), new TOB ($30), MT tranny crossmember, MT driveshaft, and possibly a couple other things. ill do it for $200 labor plus $30 for flywheel resurfacing. just need some up front so i can get a mini tool to get the job done easy.
