Poor Running 240 SX
I have a 93 240 SX with a KA DOHC. Yesterday I was getting on US19 and as I was on the on ramp it started to hesitate in the throttle until about 4K. It almost felt like I lost a cylinder. I have no smoke or water in the oil so I dont thin its the head gaskit. So last night I went out and bought new spark plugs to see if that would fix the problem but to no evail same shit! Anyway I did notice that the back 2 cylinder plugs were white and the frint 2 were black? any thoughts? It runs like its on 3 cylinders but theres plenty of spark? I will shoot some video of my driving the car today after work and post it in here to show you exactly what it is doing. Any thoughts? BTW it has a new fuel filter. I have done a little searching on this hesitation problem but nothing sounds like my exact problem.

actually. I fixed it! I went out and bought a compression tester
A) because its a good tool to have
B) it would tell me if I have a droped cylinder.
So I checked all compression on all 4 cylinders and it was all good. and I then checked the spark on all cylinders and again ALL GOOD! then I pull the plugs and there all good? BUT! after pulling the plugs I noticed one of them looked unused, as in no carbon or anything. so right there I knew I was not getting any fuel to that cylinder. So I pulled my Number 2 injector and went out and bought a used injector from a junk yard and poped it right in and the damn thing fired right up and no more problem and I drove it to brooksville and back with no problems.

Hmmm......may need to investigate this on my 240. I've tested the injectors by disconnecting each plug. After each disconnection the engine stumbles, so that goes to tell me all four are good, but hell good used injectors are cheap so why not.
