Default MAFs for SR20DET?

Alright I already know the Z32 is probably the easiest one to use and prolly the better compatibility but what about the Q45 it has a 90mm diameter will it work as good or better? And if anyone is selling anyof these let me know, and if you know of what other MAFs will work let me know too? Thx

Geeeezzz, you can put a Maxima MAF, Q45 MAF, RB25 MAF, Ford Cobra MAF, just about anything is possible, I guess. I'm selling a Q45 MAF on ebay... A Q45 MAF will probably work better with tuning..... if your running over 600hp.

q45 maf is quite large and will be harder to tune correctly via rom tune...already talked with scott about this as the next project will be 600+whp....go with a stand alone or change your setup, q45 will work, but will not be your best bet

Let me clarify a bit... you will be able to run more horsepower with the Q45 MAF, IF you can get a good tuning job on it... I agree that the Q45 MAF is harder to tune than the Z32 MAF for sure.

Also, what is the difference between the 4- and 3-pin Q45 MAF's...both having the yellow sensor tag??

you wont make any more power on a Q maf than a Z maf. the Z maf isnt a restriction. the Q maf is rediculously non-linear at idle level air flows on an SR. unless you plan on going over 540whp...stick to the Z maf!
