Default s13 Steering "shake"

Just recently, when turning the wheel at any amount of speed...the steering wheel tends to shake quite a bit. It doesn't really shake when going straight, only really notice it when turning. What part needs to be replaced. Was told that it might be bushings. Not really familiar with all of the suspension parts and their functions. Thanks in advance, Sean

i know its not the rotors. i just got them replaced.

i have a feeling it is the bushings, steering is sloppy and i know they are stock. do the t/c bushings have to be pressed in or can they just be swapped out? if they have to be pressed in should i just get a whole new t/c rod with maybe the whiteline bushings in them...i saw them on pdm-racing.com for $107.50 each. let me know if there is a better price anywhere or if you have a better idea.

thanks, Sean

jack the car up, with the front completely off the ground, unlock the steering wheel ,and shake the wheel lightly back and forth.
it shouldnt have any play. if it does you need tie rods.
the pdm tc rods arent worth it, if you dont want adjustable rods, just get energy suspension inserts for like 35$, or the whiteline for a little more. or nismo.
it will be cheaper.

they have to be pressed. but its pretty easy.
if you cant do it, just a machine shop do it, it will still be cheaper than buying the new arms from pdm.

keep in mind the control arms will start to tear by doing the fully solid poly tc rods. you'll wnat to drill holes in the bushing to allow some flex...
