Only the realy REEEAAAAALLLLYYYY stupid ones would think that. What you are referring to are locking hubs. That has absolutely nothing to do with the differential.

Could someone explain the whole locking hubs thing????

i don't understand that whole dana 44 mechanical locking hubs manually operated etc.. and like air operated hubs and air operated diffs?? that's just something my import ass has never gotten into.
