Default 05 sentra spec-v

I always like this car. I am thinking about getting one but did they get rid of the skyline inspiried front clip? I am searching pictures at nissandriven.com and yahoo.com and they both show the plan front ends.

please tell me this is a wrong photo

They changed the front end for the 04 model year. If you want the Skyline looking one you need to buy a used 02 or 03. Quite frankly if you can get over the front end I would get an 04 or 05 cause the earlier years, especially the 02, had some problems. Or you can just buy all the front fenders from an 02 car and swap them on (it has been done).

Uhhh lets see. The 04s were different because they got the new front end, new tailights, and a new gauge cluster. Oh and there was the Brembo brake option. The 05s are the same as the 04s except the interior is different than any other year, and they have a reverse lockout on the transmission. Mechanically the cars are the same, though.

Get up, go see it and drive it in person. Nothing touches it under 20K. And then some

The 2002's and early 2003's had a lot. All problems have since been fixed by recall or redesign. The ECU was also changed in 2004. They also use a wideband o2 sensor with the new ECU.

Just buy an 04-05. If you are so compelled to do so afterwards, just source out some blackout/clear corner headlamps for an 02-03, a hood, and a bumper. easy.

also the 04-05 don't need any knock sensor relocation work done to it.
