87 200sx (drift Car?)
i have the chance to pick up a 200sx real reasonably... it has the 2.0 liter motor and rear wheel drive... anyone know the spec's on these cars and if it could be a drift car? thanks Dj

Is this a euro car... In Ireland the 240 is the 200sx..

drifting is new to me...always had domestic v8 cars..which are awesome for straight line 1/4 mile performance.. but I want to try a more chalanging/skilled type of driving sport... and can basically have the 87 200sx given to me, its light and a rear wheel drive, thought I might be a good drifter....

S12 is neat little car. It was available with a CA20E, CA18ET, and VG30E. The CA20 was the base model, making around 125 hp. I've heard that the rear suspensions in those cars are hard to work on, and of poor design (trailing arm?). That may not be ideal for drift. Then again, all manner of rwd car has been drifted.
I don't think it'll be the perfect drift car, but it'll still be fun, I'm sure. By the way there are usually about a half dozen at Cophers.

Find a CA18ET version put a NX CA18DE head and you have a CA18DET
