same topic in drifting section and no one answered....so i cam here.....how would i know if i had LSD? someone told me to burn out and if theres two tracks left then i have it.....but i dont think thats very accurate because regular diffs. do that too. so if anyone knows the right way to find if you have LSD then let me know.....thanks

Jack up the car and turn the rear wheel. Both wheels should turn in the same direction if it has LSD.

 

if its not a hicas theres no lsd

 

what is hicas? and if it has that one LSD w/ the fluid wont that not work?

 

ok, the way to tell if you have LSD is to be at a dead stop, turn the wheel left, then rev up and dump the clutch and see is the car just spins the inside tire or u end up doing a donught.

spinning inside tire= no lsd
dounght= lsd
