Ok, along with the s14 SR I have a Koyo radiator.
Will a flex a lite duel 12 inch be ok?
They pull 2500cfm and cover the entire surface area of the Koyo.
I know the single 15 inch pulls 2800cfm, but only from half of the Koyo.
So what do you guys think.

Dual Flex-a-lites cooled my black-top just fine with a fluidyne. Always nice and steady, nothing above halfway up on the temp gauge regardless of how hot/cold the weather was...even with the A/C on.

 

do a search on FA.com basic 240sx for radiator test!!

 

And don't just fill it with straight h2o. Replace the thermostat first thing just in case.

 

I have the KOYO and DUAL FLEX A LITES on my S14 SR.

Never a problem. I recommend you use relay to wire them up, either the stock relays under the fuse box or some new automotive ones as the FLEX A LITE THERMOSTAT is piece of crap.

agent, if you plan on doing alot of drift walong with a/c and power steering i would buy the following


1) OEM FAN SHROUD BRAND NEW SR20DET
2) OEM FAN CLUTCH BRAND NEW S13 240SX
3) OEM FAN BLADE SET BRAND NEW SR20DET
4) OEM TSTAT SR20DET WITH ENJUKU SPL MODIFICATION

you'd be surprised how freaking otu of control the stock fan kicks ass...

 

Yeah, the stock fan with stock fan shroud does pull a hell of a lot of air. On a 300, you get cooling issues if you do electrics half the time.

However, on an s14 which has a better water pump then an s13, the koyo with dual FAL should be more then adequate.

 

ohh, i know the stock fan does rape. its just not attractive.
i have the stock clutch fan still so all i would need is a shroud.
stock KA shroud wont work i am assuming?

what is the stat W/ mod?????
