Default want to remove emissions things

well, after my first time drifting, I want to get my ass in gear to do things to my car that i've wanted to do for a long time.

I'm looking to get another car for a daily driver so I can do a lot more work to my 240.

What i've got:
91 240sx SE 5spd
basically stock with only an intake.

I want to clean up the engine bay.

Move battery to trunk, fab a short intake to fill empty battery spot.
Remove all emissions things from under hood.
Remove clutch fan, install larger electric dual fan.

So my question is, what all can I remove to gain power, reduce weight and on a small budget while I save up for that swap?

Do I need the AIV, EGR, SCV, carbon canister, etc...

Will my car run like crap if I do remove these things?

I know I saw these things done to other cars, I think Hachibill has all of these things done, I just wonder what all is involved with this.

Any help would be appreciated!

Well I cant comment on what NOT to remove, but I will say that you've got a smart modding plan there. A lot better than most of the "what do I mod" threads that start in here from stock 240 owners!

GREAT JEARB!

Yes if anyone could point out the specifics that would be great. I have been wanting to do the same thing. For instance what do you do with any the sensors that will no longer be in use.

ya, moves it out of the way and frees up a lot of space so the intake could go in its place instead of 3 feet in the other direction.

you definately dont need the EGR, AIV, or EVAP (charcoal canister) systems. i dont have an s13 so i'm not sure on what the pros and cons of the SCV (butterflies) are, its a personal preference, some people take em out some dont.

and bishes, russ had shorty intake like 3 yrs ago! hahaha.
