well i BRIEFLY skimmed through this one topic on Version Select body kits... i just want to know peoples opinions on this kit... quality wise, compounds used to make kits, and pricing...

would you consider it a " knock off brand kit"?

any input welcome!!! lets hear it...

me personally i have never really been a body kit person, but idk i guess they catch my attention once in a while pending on other car attributes..

Jonas, I've had my sides and rear on for a month now. The body shop was amazed at how tight/well the pieces fit. They didn't have to do much in terms of fitment, it was mostly a bolt-on affair. The rear of the side skirts actually were too tight and cracked a hair during install, nothing filler couldn't take care of.

It's thick, heavy, rigid as heck compared to my Ings RSpec Hybrid front.

I would call it a knock-off b/c they are copies of original designs (MSport, Ings). I have no shame in saying they're copies but I am ashamed that they're non-functional in terms of actual aerodynamic design. I'm thinking of cutting some pieces in the rear bumper to release the air trapped back there. Not too worried about it though b/c I rarely see highway.
