lol no the motors that have gone went for different reasons. most were recoverable if i wanted to spend about the same amount of money on repairs that it is for me to get new motors. i get a new jdm sr20 for 400-450 so i just get new motors if the head warps, i break a valve, timing chain snaps, i dont pay attention to the gauges.

sometimes they do just fine... they are weak, but shit, you people act like if you put a k&n drop in filter in, that you might as well go ahead and buy a new tranny.
john (boostin 97 se-r's) seemed to hold up fine.
i wasn't really commenting on the strength of the tranny so much as the strength of the motor

sr20's ( both in DE and DET form ) are extremely stout motors... and while i'm sure the tranny's aren't made ENTIRELY of glass... i've heard of way more people breaking the tranny before the motor ever goes.

shit, i don't know anything about FWD nissan, but i do know that the FWD SE-R trannies are pretty weak. i myself have been through over 15 trannies in different cars. the weakest tranny i have found is the toyota t-50. you look at it wrong and it breaks. but good luck with the spray, although i would keep it under a 50 shot with those small injectors.
