Default Motor Mounts...

Probably stupid but do you have to yank the whole motor out of 240SX to replace worn or damaged mounts? Can i just support the motor/tranny on jack stands and replace one mount at a time. Just curious.

Never mind, I did some searching on some other forums and found some good instructions. :bbb: to me for not searching, I should know better. This can be locked or deleted now.

you should do to your motor mounts what i did so that you don't have to deal with breaking shitty stock mounts any more. and it only cost like 5 bucks instead of 250 for nismo mounts. pm for details.

If I read your mind correctly your talking about using that 3M polyurethane and injecting it into the ribs of the stock mounts making them more solid. That is what I plan on doing, but my mounts are really bad. So I'm going to buy a set of cheap used 240SX mounts and "polyurethane" them up, that way they can dry for a few days while I drive my car.

...then again that was what you were refering to right?

yeah. it works great. solid as a rock. when your done filling them up you should put them in the oven for a bit and bake them solid. we stuck mine under some bright, hot ass work lamps for like 2 days. but man what a pain in the ass tring to get the motor mounts back in place when they don't give at all. have fun.
