Default s14's gas gauge will not work

my friend has an s14 and for some reason the gas stays the same level at full but dosent move.... now unless his car has infinate gas something is wrong

so help a nigga out dawg

either that, or he put a walbro in and didnt reinstall it properly. ive seen it happen 07509876598649764974 times. take it back out and make sure everything is set up properly inside.

Push in that little button thing that sticks out on your Tach everytime you fill up.
When the numbers hit 340, find a gas station.

You could have either broke a couple pieces off which read the fuel level, or just burnt out the "reader thing"*forgot what its called* It happened to me, the floater goes to a reader piece has numbers and such, and it may have just gone bad, we took some really fine sand paper and sanded it a little and fixed a little piece that snapped off, wha la. if all else fails, dealership is your friend for a new assembly
