Steering Wheel Removal
I've bought 2 brands of steering wheel pullers and none of them seem to fit or work with the Nissan steering wheel. My question is do i really need a puller to remove the steering wheel. I mean it's just one nut in the center. Just curious if there is a way to remove the steering wheel without the puller and without damaging the column. If not anyone know what type of steering puller will work?
yep, there is another easier, faster, and cheaper way. i have never used a puller. make sure the wheels are straight forward. after you get the nut off punch the bottom of the steering wheel with the base of your hand pretty hard. if that doesnt work after a couple of hits then try hitting the wheel towards you. it shouldnt be difficult at all. this will knock it loose (you will easily be able to tell its loose) and then you just slide it off after that.

Problem solved. I pulled it with the wheel puller and I pulled it with my hands a second time. Like you said it was easy. I did it 5min after my first post. This thread can be closed or locked now.
