Default q45 brakes opinions

ok so i bought some q45 calipers rotors, etc to do an upgrade. after some consideration and some hunting for parts/someone to drill the rotors, im having second thoughts. should i scrap the q45 idea and go for 300zx tt brakes, or stick with what i have and order some pre 4 lug drilled rotors and go at it?

also, anyone know someplace that will either a) drill for 4 lug or b)sell some drilled/slotted rotors already machined for 4 lug?

lemme know, thanks.

Go to home depot, buy 1/2" drill bit, start drilling. Use a stock rotor bolted to the Q45 one as a reference. Rotors are hubcentric, so it's not like you can be off by much.

Or just find a machine shop in the yellow pages. 13mm hole, 4x4.5", that's all they need.

i'm doing the q45 upgrade too, but i'm doing the 97 Q brakes which are alot bigger than the pre 97 Q45/J30 brakes. if your doing the smaller Q then all you have to do is get the rotors drilled, the rest is bolt on. i like the fact their not all flashy so noone wants to steal shit.

dont scrap that idea. those are the brakes that i have had on my car and i love them. i have had no problems. you dont even need to have them crossdrilled. just throw them on.
