Default Suspension issues :(

So.. are non-hubcentric spacers supposed to click and clunk as I navigate a parking lot? I plan on ordering better spacers, but need a car until then and picked up a set of universal 5-lug spacers, 8mm. Now my car is clunking as I turn corners. I'm 100% sure nothing is rubbing or touching through the entire range of the wheel's motion, but the clunking is still there. On one side, too.

i've never had that happen with non hubcentric spacers, and i've stakced them 3 deep before

i think you have problem elsewhere dude.

do you have pillowball mount up front?/ top nut probably loose.

Make sure you have them torqued down too.
Also do you have extended wheels studs?

Yes. Pillowball up front, and it was *slightly* loose. That took care of 80% of the clunking, not it's pretty isolated to clunking when I brake. I too think there's a problem elsewhere, because if one tire doesn't rub the coils of the spring, the other (driver's side) shouldn't either. And the camber should be the same. The driver's side is worse on both accounts.
On a side note, I didn't have this clunking when my car was ultra-low... and all I've done since then is raise the car up. Can an alignment shop tell me if a pothole or something has tore up my spindle or other semi-important suspension part?

its probably a ball joint or a front lower control arm bushing

also makes ure your 'power brace' arm that the t/c rod bolt goes to and swaybar bolts go to is tightneed down, mine fell out one time.

You mentioned that your changed your suspension recently... My brother's car popped and clunked horribly after he worked on it himself. Turns out that he didn't put the upper perch on in the correct orientation (rotated 90 degrees). Once we clocked the perch back the right direction, everything was cool again. Did you put your's back together right?

I have a spare set of S14 LCAs/TCs/balljoints....

My coilovers came fully assembled, so I don't know if the whole "Bieng 90* off" on the spring perch would apply.
I did tighten the nut on top of the shock decently tight. If they're supposed to be lugnut-tight, let me know.
How do I go about checking for suspension component damage? As I said, the driver's side (side in question) tire has more camber, was the only tire to rub the coilover, and clunks. The passenger side is/was fine.
