yikes. The L28 is a pretty big motor. I'm not sure it would fit. That sucker is long and may run into the radiator. It also has a tall valve cover and may hit the hood. The L28 is retarded and has the intake and exhaust ports on the same (driver's) side of the head. This, along with the steering column and brake master might get you in to trouble. Increase the complexity if you go with the turbo version. If you clear all of those issues, then you get to make custom pipes, mounts, driveshaft, wiring, maybe a header. Doesn't sound too fun.

In conclusion, probably not possible, which is a good thing, because it's probably not worth it.

+1 Chris!
It probably wouldn't even be worth it to try to 99% of people. The other 1% would either a) want to do it because it's different, or b) are poor.
There are better (technologically), more capable, smaller, more powerful, more efficient motors to be sticking in a 240. Even the 302/350s that 280Z guys stick in their cars are better off in a 240sx.

I heard someone talking about this a while ago, it's such a retarded idea. Hey lets put a dump truck motor in a Cube.

It's different and the l28 motors torque nasty. Why wouldn't you if it fits right in? I am not saying it drops right in easily or anything but it damn sure would be fun and run a lot better than a lot of other motors. It's a little bit more original than a Sr20 that doesn't put much torque out even though it is a badass motor.
