88 300z problem
Ok, I recently was having problems when starting my car... It would like spudder at first unless I had my foot on the gas, until it was half way warmed up then it would be fine.... now the engine shuts off as soon as I start it... when it finally warms up, it hesitates and misses... and it also stubles upon acceleration... i changed the fuel filter, checked for faulty plugs and wires, they are ok, distributor is ok and rotor... the car also smokes a little now when i gas it... does anyone know what might be causing this... i was thinking a bad fuel pump mabe?
sounds like the cyl head temp sensor, teddy is right. hunt down stinkyz, he`ll beable to help with the dig.

is the smoke black, like it`s running rich? you can try unplugging the chts and if things don`t change, that might be your problem. also check your fuel reg buy unplugging vacuum line while running, if you get fuel, that`s bad. but also check for a vacuum leak somewhere. the rubber pipes from the afm to the tb are prone to cracking, allowing unmetered air in.
