Nuts and bolts
So in my manifold's life, it has spit out enough nuts and studs for me to become familiar with hardware-store pieces. And all the stainless steel bolts and nuts I have ever bought end up the same way.
Heated up by the turbo, turn white, the stainless flakes off, and a rusty-ass bolt eventually wiggles its way out.
So, I'm in the process of bettering my car, and I need a new set of nuts/bolts. Does anyone know why the stainless flakes off my nuts, or why the lockwashers expand once and never lock again. How do I keep a) stainless nuts as stainless nuts, and b) keep them on my car (ala lock-nut)?
Where would I begin to look for turbo-suitable nuts and bolts?

i would use the lock washers that the domestic guys use for their headers. the washer have tabs that rest on the side of the header (in your case turbo flange) and they wont spin off
