Default Our 500whp Spec V project.. Pics and Info..

Hello all..

I am building a SE-R for one of your local guys. I'll post pics, stats and updates here as they become available. This car started out in February of this year with one of our bolt on turbo kits. The car made 270whp and 250ft lbs at 6.5psi of boost on pump gas.

He dropped the car off here, in Louisiana, last week. We'll be building the following..

AEBS Sleeved block
Arias 8.5:1 forged pistons (low silicone content, 4mm higher wrist pin)
Crower custom rods (4mm longer)
AEBS Main and head studs
Metal headgasket
JWT cams
JWT valvesprings
Cryotreated stock crank
KA24DE Nissan OEM rings
Modified oil galleys and drilled Nissan bearings (provides the rod bearings with oil throughout the entire 360* of crank revolution)

Electromotive stand alone system with 3 bar MAP sensor
KA24DE throttle body, and cable/pedal conversion
750cc injectors
Greddy Type R BOV
NX intercooler sprayer
Autometer EGT, Oil pressure and boost guages
Apexi AVC-R boost controller
FI-R custom stainless steel equal length manifold
Garrett GT30R ballbearing turbo

The car also has a ton of other supporting mods.. which are already done. Suspension, 3" exhaust and DP, fuel pump, rail, and everything else needed to make 500whp safely. Here's a few pics..

This is with out bolt on kit.. before any other mods have been done..

AEBS sleeved block and Crower rod/Arias piston

I'll have more pics and updates in the next few weeks..

Travis

Can't wait till this is done so I can see the results. Good luck with the build and I'm very glad to hear that you escaped Ivan with minimal damage there in Louisiana.

We were very lucky... VERY. Most people don't realize how much damage a storm like that could do to Southern Louisiana.

do you guys have a website, or any other avenue to obtain additional information as it becomes available, or should I just keep tuned to TR?

This will be the highest HP QR that I know of. We hold the record for the highest HP QR right now.. 391whp on pump gas on a Mustang Dyno. That car was built last year.

Our site is www.fi-r.com . However, you can look here for updates.. Since this is Norlandt's home-town forum.
