Default s13 info needed

What are the exact measurements of the engine bay?
what is the length of the beginning of the bellhousing to the rear end?
whats the spline count on the driveshaft?
how long is a 5spd transmission, and is the shifter incorporated into the transmission and comes through the floorboard? if so, how far away is that hole from the back of the block?

it depends on the engine for where the block is in relation to the shifter.

there are plenty of junkyards out there, why don't you do a little homework and let us know the exact measurements!

the spline count doesn't matter on the drivesahft, a custom one can be made with any input yolk you need.

people catch on too quickly these days...i was actually thinking along the lines of the LS2 or maybe LS7 if i wait...cant wait to see what that 3 valve head is gunna do on a 6 litre...but for ease, i also considered a carbed setup, like a 383 with lots of spray..

i dont think it would be a huge investment just quite timely, and only reason i consider it is because the bird weighs so much more. putting a V8 into an s13, or a 2nd gen RX7 would be great weight wise, it would get the weight down more then i ever could SAFELY gutting the car. and i could just be dreaming like ya said, with as much as i have going on lately, i have little free time.
