Looks like you get leather, power antennae, alarm system, CD instead of cassette, keyless entry, and moonroof all standard on a LE over a SE, anything to miss with a LE over a SE?

Nearly impossible to find a 5-speed 97-98, but I could probably deal with auto for a year or so until the fun begins

How does $7,600 sound for a 98 LE auto with 99k on the clock? "Private Party" KBB is $7,8XX on the car in excellent condition.

You'll miss out on the VLSD, but $7600 sounds fine for a 98. It's hard enough finding the late model ones. Only a few thousand made!

 

VLSD/ABS package was an option on SE+LE, not standard on either......odds are slim to none of finding a 97-98 with that package

 

sounds good. get the SE. not much more when they're used, and you'll regret it if you don't. And dont worry about the auto. you can convert to 5speed for cheep and there's little work.

 

yup get the LE. leather > you.

there were only 3655 in 97 and 2178 in 98.
