its automatic, and almost positive its a 1.6 (XE) but not sure of the engine code...is it GA16DE? and was there a turbo version of this motor? cant find anything on a DET version but maybe im just not lookin in the right spots. basically just lookin for a manifold, i dont wanna weld one up if there is an oem one available.

 

No , didnt come turbo in a stock form anywhere .

Better off starting with a SE-R or SE with SR20DE .

im not lookin to dump insane amounts of money in this, i just want like 150whp thats it. only lookin to spend like maybe 400 bucks.

 

do a KA fwd conversion...they came with about 150 hp and tq. other than that i've never seen a nice NA Ga16de...i'd say do custom exhaust, intake, advanced timing, P&P head, and other small stuff...not sure if you'll net 150hp, but it will be faster no doubt. Have you thought of a turbo GA? that would be original man.

 

i thought my original post made it clear i had thought about a turbo ga??? i was just lookin for a manifold. i am going to use a 9B off of a 3000gt VR4. so in that case, it will all be custom exhaust, custom intake piping, in no way will i advance the timing, and if i blow a headgasket, then ill P&P my head...ive got a friend with a flow bench so i can keep the flows and velocity relatively close then work from there, and i can enlarge the combustion chamber some to drop compression if need be. but i cant really do anything until i can figure out what size injectors these are, how much the fuel pump flows, how much pressure the injectors can handle, and some other minor little things. probably going to end up running a BTM and FMU and if i need injectors, an SAFC so those would kinda push me to $1000 total

 

There is a GA16DET :] People need to do a little more research but the main motors that people swap into the car our the GTi-R motor and the Bluebird.. both motors will give you a 12 sec Sentra.. with simple bolt on mods on the GTi-R motor will get you a 11 sec car.. if you got money to spend you can get it to 500HP+

 

i dont need 500hp to run 11's...i dont even need 300...and like i said, im not lookin to spend alot...if i try to do a gtir setup, i am going to be coming outta pocket for alot of crap i dont need.

I thought I used to see cheap turbo manifolds on ebay for that motor. Ill do some more searching around for you.

Someone did an NA build up on a GA16DE. SCC? I think a Hotshot header and some JWT cams are what really wore that motor up.
