I have been looking every where trying to find somethng that could tell me what engine went in what year car.The specs for that engine.

I am just looking for info on the more important car.


If someone could find or write out the engine specs and the chassie code for me i would be the most greatful.

oh and thanks to gary i have been looking for that for some time now

 

ka = engine code
24 = displacement
d = dual cam
e = multiport fuel injection

so...

ka24e = ka engine, 2.4L, no d = single cam, mpfi

20 = The capacity of the engine ( 2.0 L )
D = Indicates Double Overhead Cams ( Twin Cam )
E = Electronic Fuel Injection
T = Indicates a Turbo Model

"DD" indicates dual cam with direct injection, as well.
