Well, its time you let me into the nissan community, i will be picking up my 240sx tomorrow, and selling my acura integra. Im getting this 240, because in a way it reminds me of my rx7 that i had a while ago, but it seems much more practical and reliable... please put up with me asking stupid questions while i get used to my new breed of car.

Thats all I have been doing since I bought mine...everyone has been great. I will say this I have had mine for a month and replaced more parts for in it in 30 days than I did in the past 5 years of owning honda's all cars combined....In fact today I got to buy an alternator (200.00) but its worth it

im going to search, be4 i ask questions. But i know a little bit, i have a friend with an sr20 in his 240, and then another friend with a ka.

i plan on swapping mine with a ca18

welcome. you'll find that the 240 is probably just the same as your rx7, albiet with nissan badges and a piston motor do search, but if you cant find something, dont feel afraid to ask, even if some flame you, there's those of us who always dont mind answering and helping out the new guys so they dont end up spending/wasting money or doing something wrong.

 

well i hope it doesnt get to expensive, for now, i plan on leaving it pretty stock, while i finish some exterior work.

then ill move on to swaping it.

i hope its not as expensive as the rx7 after 4 trannys

 

freshalloy.com, zilvia.net, nissaninfiniticlub.com, and this site are the 4 I frequently visit. Check'em out. They all have their ups and downs, but so does everything heh.

 

what year is the car you are getting? mileage? dont rule out playing around with the KA if it's still good, unless youre just jumping bandwagon to have SR and drift and be JDM. but if your KA is older or running out of life, the SR will definately be a decent way to go.

PS - if your KA is still decent and you swap, ill take the KA

 

read some more and you will realize the CA is junk
