Can't say that I've ever heard of the problem you describe. Do you have to pull over and shut the car off immediately when this happens? Or does it just go into safe mode(<2500rpms)?

What mods do you have ??

if the maf is too far away from the tb it throughs off the ecu .

it chould be the Thotttle postion senser chould be going bad .

by speed shifting do you mean holding the gas down and shifting ?? how often do you hit the rev limiter ???

are you burning any oil ?? Have you relocated the o2 sencors ??

ok im not burning any oil, no relocated 02 sensors and i dont hold the gas, by speed shifting im meaning shift as fast as you can when u hit redline, and i dont often hit the rev limiter and i do have a nismo intake but i doubt it would throw off the maf

don't they stop makin powet at 6,250...but redlines at like 6,500...something like that...try shifting when you still have power...not after the rpms pass thier peak. That might be it...and try to keep off the limiter...that is really bad for the engine.CLUNK!

Yep,
Stock cams peak at 6000 and the rev limiter kicks in at 6250...
