Nissan Convention. Done.
"Hello,
I regret to inform everyone that there is no feasible
way to proceed with the 2004 Nissan 240sx National
Convention. Let me begin by expressing my apologies to
everyone involved. Many options have been looked at and
the conclusion is still the same. All fault should be
directed to me. Let me thank all the sponsors,
volunteers, and all others that have helped in so many
ways.
Donations, registration fees, and products will be
returned in a timely manner. If you are a registered
participant please provide me with you MAILING address
(by replying to this email). It will help speed up the
refund process.
There are many factors that led to the decision to
cancel the convention. The main factor was not enough
people signing up. If you would like to discuss details
more in depth feel free to contact me.

It's typical 240-owner bullshit, of people saying they want something and they'll pay. When time comes, they all backed out. Lack of registration and funding cancelled this one. I missed last year and was ready to road trip to this one

yeah i saw.
i couldnt go, too much of a trek for one weekend when school has already started. it needs to be in like june or july (not near the 4th though)...hopefully next year we can get it to be in like texas....thats like perfect middle america.

I find it very ironic that not even a month ago the west coast guys were raggin on the failure of the East coasts 2003 convention....this must really sting...lmao

also fuck this national crap.. the motivated people are here.. in Florida.. why not plan another Z, 240 Meet here in Central Florida.. Gainesville, Orlando ... someplace with a track... gainesville has the best dragway and the road course..
now that my Z is back.. ive got a renewed vigor..
but this will have to wait till WAY after CFC04.. which will be finalized tomorrow at 2pm..
