Default what kind of ECU are you running?

hey im wondering what kind of aftermarket ECU you guys are running on your RWD SR swaps, i will be using a s14sr, any recomendations?

aftermarket ecu's?...i believe most people locally run stock ecu's either on stock programs or retuned via rom tune or another sort of ems.

is it better to swap a s13 ecu into s14 for the rom tuneability, or safc stuffs?

some clips if you're lucky come with Mine's ECUs or other local ones, not sure how great they are though.

some of the tunes are great, some aren't. the problem is that a very radical tune will only work 100% perfect with the EXACT similar setup.

that's the cool thing about having a custom tune built specifically for the car that you have witht he mods that you have. thank goodness we have that stuff avialble to us locally.

I've got a Cockpit Tuned ecu in my car, and on the dyno it did almost nothing different compared to a stock SR ecu. It only showed a slight difference in a/f at low rpms. It even made 1 1/2 less hp than my stock ecu, but could be because of time of run, temp of motor, difference in fuel.

+1 for Enthalpy ROM tune. I'm sure MANY more local SR's will agree.
