has anyone bought any from the ebay?
rear upper arms: 120 a set.
they seem to be pillowball from the pic.

WAY less then the high priced stuff. i know you get what you pay for, but sometimes good stuff can be had cheap.
what do you guys think?
they have tie rod ends(90) and rear lower arms(90).

 

It's hard for me to say a Cusco $500 strut tower brace is better than a $15 ebay brace. It's a piece of metal, with some ends welded onto it. Sure, it will suck when a weld breaks, but there are redundant components, so your tire won't necessarilly fall off. It could.. but...
This has always been my thinking.. but I'm not a suspension guru, so don't listen to me. I'm sure some Grand Pubah of suspension will chime in.

When it comes to cars i dont think cheap is the way to go. I hear many people who by ebay parts then 2- 3 months down lthe line its broke. Being that it deals with your suspension i wouldnt trust it at all. Hooking up a car is expensive not cheap. Just make sure you do it right. I could cost you much more for buying the cheap ones as suppose to getting the real ones.

destroyed a 220 dollar ad07...

spend the money in the right places, skimp on other things. strut tower braces are alright to get cheap ones. they don't really do a whole lot. if it breaks, the wheel isnt going to die.

if a rear upper arm falls, you can ruin your wheel your brakes your axle your differentail if you are not careful as well as your bodywork.

Knowing Matt, expensive stuffs. Kazaama, Tien, JIC? I really don't know, but I'm in the ballpark.

well here is matts subframe for reference:


compair those with the ebay unit.
same design, 3 piece with pillowball.
same as ebay.
the tip is not tapered like cusco or kazama.
